Developed by Samuel Hahnemann, the father of homeopathy, Mercurius Solubilis is a remedy obtained from an original and complex preparation.
The latter is original because it allows the solubility of mercury, which, let's remember, is not soluble in alcohol, water or any other liquid in its natural state.
It is also complex because metallic mercury, mercurous nitrate and nitric acid are used in its preparation.
Presented in powder form, this preparation is triturated in lactose before being diluted and energised, thus transforming it into Mercurius Solubilis, a homeopathic remedy for the treatment of various pathologies.
Otolaryngology
Mercurius solubilis is recommended for otitis, mumps and nasopharyngitis characterised by purulent secretions and accompanied by sinusitis.
It is also useful for colds and acute or chronic tonsillitis causing bad breath and/or excessive salivation.
Ophthalmology
Mercurius Solubilis is effective against ocular disorders that manifest as inflammation and suppuration.
It is particularly suitable for patients with red eyes troubled by an excessive influx of irritating tears, or with red eyelids troubled by purulent secretions.
It also treats conjunctivitis and acute or chronic blepharitis, whatever the cause.
Pneumology
Mercurius solubilis is used in pulmonology to treat asthma.
It is also used to treat bronchitis with cough and purulent discharge.
Gastroenterology
Mercurius Solubilis is indicated for infectious or profuse diarrhoea caused by digestive disorders or inflammation of the digestive tract and/or mucous membranes.
This homeopathic remedy can also be used to relieve pain caused by digestive problems, nausea and flatulence.
