Acute bronchitis

Definition of the pathology

Bronchitis is an inflammation of the bronchial tubes of viral origin that does not require treatment in healthy people without chronic diseases. Bronchitis heals itself in an average of 10 days. This is why it is called acute bronchitis, as opposed to chronic bronchitis (or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), which is common in smokers.
