Contraindications

It is contraindicated for pregnant and lactating women and children.

It is advisable not to exceed the recommended dosage.

In fact, an overdose can decrease the heart rate.

Forms of use

Internal use

  • Infusion
    • 5g of leaves and flowers in one cup of boiling water, let it infuse for 10 to 15 minutes.
    • Drink 2 to 4 cups a day.
  • Decoction
    • Add 5g of leaves in a cup of cold water, boil for 2 to 5 minutes and let it infuse for 5 to 10 minutes.
    • Gargle and then drink.
  • Tincture
    • 15 drops in a glass of water, 3 times a day.
  • Syrup
  • Raw, cooked
  • Leaves are edible, raw or cooked

External use

  • Gargle with the decoction
    • Add 5g of leaves to cold water, boil for 5 minutes, and let it infuse for 10 minutes.
    • Gargle, 3 to 4 times a day.
