Gold (Au)

Gold stimulates the immune system to resist fatigue.

It is often used in addition to copper and silver to aid recovery after an infectious episode.

It is not a trace element found naturally in the body.

Indications

Inflammatory rheumatism

Gold is traditionally used to treat inflammatory rheumatism, such as rheumatoid arthritis.

In case of residual fatigue

It is involved in the synthesis of cortisol, which explains its role in inflammation and fatigue.

For example, after an infectious episode, gold helps to combat residual fatigue and facilitate recovery.

Anti-infective action

Its anti-infective properties are useful for activating our immune defences in the event of a viral or bacterial attack.

Gold stimulates general tone (we sometimes think of this trace element as an energy booster) and helps the body resist fatigue, whether due to stress or infection.

  • For anti-inflammatory rheumatism, gold is often combined with Copper.
  • In cases of residual fatigue or convalescence, gold should be combined with Selenium.

Deficiencies

Deficiency is not possible as it is a non-essential trace element.

Where can I find it?

Gold is not naturally present in our bodies and contributions are almost non-existent, hence the interest in supplementation.
