For one cup of anise infusion:
- 1 ounce (about a teaspoon) of dried anise fruit
- Pestle (used for grinding)
- Approximately 200 ml of water
Preparation
- The recommended, but not mandatory, first step is to crush the dried anise with a small pestle to extract the essential eye.
- Next, add the crushed fruit into a cup.
- Heat the water to a boil and add the boiling water to the crushed fruit.
- Let the infusion rest for ten minutes (to get an effective dose of the active substances).
- Filter if necessary.
- You can sweeten with a little honey, especially recommended if this tea is used for coughs.
Dosage
Drink a cup of tea three times a day for coughs and bronchitis.
In case of digestive disorders, drink about 30 min before meals.
