Kalmia latifolia

Kalmia Latifolia is a deciduous shrub of the Ericaceae family. Known by various names such as dwarf laurel, mountain laurel or American laurel, this shrub is native to North America.

It is used to make the herbal homeopathic remedy of the same name, Kalmia Latifolia.

According to the homeopathic manufacturing process, this plant is macerated in alcohol to obtain the mother tincture.

Diluted several times, this mother tincture is also dynamised in order to maintain the therapeutic efficacy of this remedy.

Kalmia Latifolia, prepared in this way, has curative properties that make it suitable for the treatment of various pathologies.

Indications for the treatment of pain

Kalmia Latifolia is widely used in homeopathy to treat the painful and excruciating consequences of various symptomatic manifestations.

Its medicinal properties reduce and stop toothache, headache and ophthalmic migraine.

This remedy is also effective in the case of acute pain confined to the bones, along the nerves, at the level of certain organs or joints.

It is therefore right that Kalmia Latifolia is prescribed for the treatment of inflammatory pathologies confined to the eyes (iritis) or the heart (myocarditis).

But it is also recommended for rheumatism and neuralgia, even the most excruciating.

These nerve pains are often made worse by movement and bending.
