Aloe socotrina

Aloe Socotrina is a homeopathic remedy of plant origin obtained from Aloe, a plant highly valued for its medicinal properties and great therapeutic efficacy.

Of the hundreds of species of aloe found throughout the world, Aloe Socotrina is one of about fifteen species that have medicinal properties.

This variety of aloe comes from Socotra, an island in the Indian Ocean, close to Somalia and Yemen.

Proctology indications

Aloe Socotrina is a very popular remedy in proctology because of its therapeutic efficacy.

In the case of haemorrhoids, it helps to relieve the pain, burning and itching associated with the disorder, while at the same time combating the resulting faecal incontinence.

This incontinence is characterised by the involuntary passage of solid or liquid stools.

Aloe Socotrina is also suitable for anal fissures and rectal disorders that can be relieved by cold.

However, it is not recommended if haemorrhoids are accompanied by bleeding, in which case you should see a doctor for proper treatment.

Gastroenterology indications

Aloe Socotrina can also be used to treat severe diarrhoea accompanied by involuntary bowel movements.

It is particularly recommended when diarrhoea occurs or worsens after consuming alcoholic beverages and oysters in the off-season.

Aloe Socotrina is also recommended for stomach and intestinal disorders that may occur: pain in the liver, flatulence and colic.

It is particularly suitable when the abdominal pain spreads to the hips and disappears as soon as the person leans forward.
