  • Laxative, stimulating peristalsis of the large intestine

Indications

Caution! As with almost all laxatives, long-term use is not advised (the constituents, anthracene derivatives found in this plant can be irritating to the gastrointestinal system) with the risk of electrolyte (mineral, ....) loss.

Talk to your naturopath for guidance on the cause of constipation if it lasts for several weeks.
