Side effects
In high doses, lily of the valley is a toxic plant, which can cause gastrointestinal irritation, arrhythmia, tachycardia, and cardiac arrest.
Its use must be done under medical supervision.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated for pregnant and lactating women and children.

Forms of use
- Infusion of flowers - diuretic: 3 to 5 g to 200 ml of boiling water. Leave to infuse for ten minutes. Bitter herbal tea, add sugar.
- Infusion of flowers - heart tonic: 8 g to 150 ml of water. Take 1 tablespoon every two hours.
- Tincture of flowers: 1 part flower to 5 parts alcohol. Allow to macerate for 10-15 days. Take 10 to 20 drops every 24 hours.
