Symptom Definition

A tremor is an involuntary, rhythmic movement of a part of the body, such as the hands, head, voice box, trunk or legs. Tremors occur when muscles contract and relax repeatedly. Tremors can be normal (physiological) or abnormal (pathological), caused by a medical condition or medication.
