Symptom Definition
Nervous tension is an intense feeling of annoyance or, more generally, stress, which must be distinguished from blood pressure (or hypertension, if it is excessive), which can be measured with a blood pressure meter. Nervous tension is associated with fatigue, stress and anxiety and can manifest itself in different ways:
- Tension headache, characterised by a feeling of tightness around the head
- Sleep disturbances
- Neck and trapezius pain
- Muscle contractions all over the body
- Dizziness
- Tremor
- Anxiety
- Digestive problems
- Lack of enjoyment of daily activities
- Mood changes
- Excessive sweating
- Asthenia (extreme tiredness)
