Anise Infusion



For one cup of anise infusion:

  • 1 ounce (about a teaspoon) of dried anise fruit
  • Pestle (used for grinding)
  • Approximately 200 ml of water

Preparation

  1. The recommended, but not mandatory, first step is to crush the dried anise with a small pestle to extract the essential eye.
  2. Next, add the crushed fruit into a cup.
  3. Heat the water to a boil and add the boiling water to the crushed fruit.
  4. Let the infusion rest for ten minutes (to get an effective dose of the active substances).
  5. Filter if necessary.
  6. You can sweeten with a little honey, especially recommended if this tea is used for coughs.

Dosage

Drink a cup of tea three times a day for coughs and bronchitis.

In case of digestive disorders, drink about 30 min before meals.
