Rosemary Poultice

Ingredients

  • Rosemary leaves (several sprigs, if possible)
  • Red wine

Preparation

  1. Cook rosemary leaves in wine for 10 minutes.
  2. Strain (save the rosemary leaves).
  3. Let it cool a little.

Dosage

Apply still-warm rosemary leaves in the form of compresses (cover the rosemary leaves with gauze, for example) and keep for a while.

Observations

If necessary, after several hours, warm up and renew the application.

You can also prepare a rosemary wine with rosemary leaves macerated in a few milliliters of wine (for example 5 or 50 ml) for 3 days.

Then you can apply cold compresses against rheumatism or even drink it (the internal use of rosemary has particularly gastrointestinal effects).
