Sabina is a homeopathic remedy based on sabine juniper, a dark green shrub between 2 and 3 metres high, found mainly in the Alps and the Pyrenees.
It is prepared from the stem and fresh leaves of this plant.
Sabina is particularly effective for gynaecological and skin disorders.
Gynaecology
Sabina can be used to treat metrorrhagia, menorrhagia and dysmenorrhoea.
It is also recommended for pruritic bleeding and anogenital vegetation, vaginal discharge with bright red blood, with or without clots, myomas, uterine bleeding and even difficult labour.
It also regulates heavy and irregular menstrual flow and relieves localised vaginal pain.
Dermatology
Sabina is effective against blackheads and acne.
It also helps to relieve itching and can be used in combination with commonly used medicines for the basic treatment of skin conditions.
