Depression

Definition of the pathology

Depression can be caused by internal factors, which are related to the person, or external factors, which are those that the person cannot control. Depression is thought to be the result of a combination of genetic, biological, environmental and psychological factors, as well as an imbalance in the levels of neurotransmitters, mainly serotonin, dopamine and noradrenaline.
