Feverfew Tincture



Indications

Ingredientes

  • 20 g dried Feverfew leaves and flowers or 40 g fresh Feverfew leaves and flowers
  • 100 ml 70° alcohol (drinkable alcohol for internal use - cognac or vodka)
  • For people who cannot drink alcohol (children, some adults for different reasons), you can use vegetable glycerin instead of alcohol. In this case (without alcohol), the preparation is suitable for children aged 2 years and older. 

Preparation

  1. Put the 20 g of Feverfew (or 40 g of fresh matricaria) in a jar.
  2. Add 100 ml of alcohol or vegetable glycerin.
  3. Close the bottle.
  4. Mix for 2 minutes.
  5. Place this bottle away from light for 6 weeks.
  6. Stir this bottle regularly every 1-2 days.
  7. Filter.
  8. Store this tincture in a color glass jar (or cover with cloth) tightly closed, away from heat.
  9. Label it (tincture of Feverfew, date: ...)

Dosage

Mix 5 drops of this tincture with a little water, drink up to 3 times a day.

You can also take one teaspoon a day of this tincture, mixed with a little water.

It is estimated that the duration of use of this tincture should generally be 2 to 3 months, before you see the first beneficial effects.
