Dog-rose Syrup



Indication

Ingredients

  • 400 grams of Dog-rose
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • Approximately 1 liter of water
  • 250 grams of sugar

Preparation

  1. Pick the fruit of the Dog-rose.
  2. Cook the fruit with water and cinnamon for about 20 to 30 minutes, until soft.
  3. Remove the cinnamon stick and mix.
  4. Add the sugar and wait until it is well diluted.
  5. Pour into warm bottles.

Dosage

1 to 2 tablespoons of syrup per day. Dilute with water if necessary.

Shelf life: 1 year if the bottle is tightly closed and stored away from light. Once opened, the syrup lasts only a few days, in which case it must be stored in the refrigerator.
