Indications
- Cough
- Sore throat
- Canker sores
- Bronchitis
- Hoarseness
- Laryngitis
- Paronychia (compressed)
- Gastroenteritis
- Itching
Ingredients
For one cup of mallow flower infusion, you will need:
- 1.5 to 2 gr (3 to 4 teaspoons) of mallow flowers
- about 200 ml water
Preparation
- Boil the water and add the dried mallow flowers.
- Let it infuse for about ten minutes (to get an effective dose of active substances).
Dosage
Drink a cup of infusion several times a day in case of a cough.
You can also use this tea in gargling, for example when a sore throat arises, but let it cool to avoid burning.
Observation
Use the flowers rather than the mallow leaves, because the flowers contain more mucilage (active ingredient that acts against coughs).
