Garlic Oil



Indications

Ingredients

  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Garlic press
  • Cooker
  • Spatula
  • Glass cup or pot
  • Glass bottle for better preservation
  • Sieve or strainer

Preparation

  1. Squeeze the garlic.
  2. Put the oil in the pan, add the garlic and cook over low heat, cook for a few minutes. 
  3. Stir constantly.
  4. Transfer this garlic oil mixture to a clean cup or glass.
  5. Strain and pour the garlic oil into a colored glass bottle (be sure to put a label with the name and date of preparation).

Dosage

Apply several times a day for several days or weeks to the affected skin location (mycoses, warts).

Expiration date

12 months (dry and away from light).

Side Effects

Garlic can lead to rashes in some people.

Other Recipes

Another recipe against foot mycosis is to use a crushed garlic clove and a teaspoon of honey.

  • Simply mix the garlic and honey in a small bowl without cooking.
  • Apply with a cotton swab to the areas affected by the fungal infection.
  • Leave this small poultice on for 15 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Rinse thoroughly.
  • Repeat 1 to 2 times a day (total of 2 to 3 poultices per day) and up to 3 days after symptoms disappear.
  • This garlic and honey based remedy can be kept for up to 3 days, but it is best to prepare a new mixture every day.
