Indications
Ingredients
For one cup of valerian infusion, use:
- 1 teaspoon (about 3 gr) of valerian roots
- About 200 ml water
Preparation
- Boil the water and add it to the valerian roots.
- Leave to infuse for about ten minutes (to get an effective dose of active ingredients).
- If possible, cover the infusion with a small dish or lid to prevent the active ingredients from escaping through steam.
Dosage
Drink a glass several times a day, preferably in the evening to catch up on sleep, for example, 30 to 60 minutes before going to bed.
You can also drink a glass in the late afternoon.
Observation
Valerian has antispasmodic and sedative effects.
Contraindications
