  4. Mix for about 2 minutes.
  5. Protect this bottle from light for 4 weeks.
  6. Stir the bottle regularly, every 1 to 2 days.
  7. Filter.
  8. Store this tincture in a tightly sealed color glass bottle, away from heat.
  9. Label it (Witch Hazel Tincture) with the date of production.

Dosage

Mix 20 drops of this tincture in about 100 ml of water, apply this tincture with a gauze or cotton pad directly to varicose veins, hemorrhoids, or mosquito bites.

Observation

Witch hazel tinctures sold commercially often contain no or insufficient amounts of tannins.

This is why a homemade preparation of witch hazel tincture is recommended, because this preparation will contain a significant amount of tannins.

We know that these substances are responsible for a favorable effect against hemorrhoids or varicose veins, thanks to an astringent action.
