Blueberry Decoction

Ingredients

  • 25 g dried blueberry berries (for a 200mL glass, count 1 to 2 tablespoons of dried blueberry berries)
  • about 1L of water

Preparation

  1. Heat the water to boiling, pour in the blueberries and boil for about 30 minutes (another recipe suggests placing the blueberries in boiling water, then cooking for 2 minutes at boiling temperature, then removing from heat and leaving to infuse covered for 10 minutes)
  2. Strain.
  3. Allow to cool.

Dosage

To be used as a mouthwash for thrush or canker sores.

It is advisable to drink a quart of this preparation over a day or as soon as possible.

Ask your naturopath for a more personalized dose.

Observation

It is recommended to keep dried blueberry fruits in the refrigerator, as some insects such as moths are very fond of these fruits and can then make them unusable.
