Definition of the pathology

Contact dermatitis is a type of skin reaction caused by contact with an irritating substance or object, such as cosmetics, perfumes, soap, cleaning products or jewellery, which causes irritation and inflammation at the site of contact, resulting in symptoms such as itching, severe redness, swelling, dryness and peeling.
