Mercurius corrosivus

Mercurius corrosivus is a homeopathic remedy made from mercuric chloride.

It is a very toxic white powder, soluble in water, ether, alcohol and glycerine.

Ingestion of pure mercuric chloride can cause inflammatory diseases and especially erythema.

For this reason, the substance is subjected to a deep treatment to remove all toxicity and is then used in the preparation of Mercurium corrosivus.

Stomatological disorders

Mercurius corrosivus is used for dryness and burning in the throat, as well as swollen and bleeding gums.

It is also recommended when the tongue is very red, moist and stained.

This remedy is also effective for inflammation of the mouth accompanied by burning pain.

It is also recommended if your teeth are very sensitive and painful, especially at night, and/or your lips are very dry.

It cures urethritis characterised by severe pain and/or greenish discharge.

It is also used for scanty urine followed by bleeding, and to relieve people who cannot remain seated for long periods because of swelling of the genitals.

Mercurius corrosivus is also most commonly prescribed for vaginitis.
