Jaborandi



Jaborandi is a homeopathic medicine derived from the South American shrub of the same name.

It is a plant with light bark and small reddish-brown flowers in clusters.

The glands of its leaves contain oil for the preparation of the mother tincture.

Behavioural problems

Jaborandi is used to treat behavioural disorders characterised by excessive secretion of sweat or alkaline saliva.

It is also used to treat hyperhidrosis and sialorrhoea.

Ophthalmological treatment

In ophthalmology, Jaborandi relieves ocular fatigue, the symptoms of which are a feeling of blurred vision, headaches and difficulty accommodating with spasms.

It also treats eye fatigue, convergent strabismus, ciliary muscle spasms, etc.
