Cuprum metalicum



Cuprum metalicum is a homeopathic remedy obtained from copper, one of the rare metals used by man for a long time to treat various pathologies.

In fact, in small doses, copper is an essential trace element necessary for the formation of haemoglobin, which carries oxygen in the blood.

Cuprum metallicum, presented in ground and granulated form, is used in the treatment of various spasmodic pathologies.

Gastroenterology indications

In gastroenterology Cuprum Metallicum is indicated for the treatment of spasmodic colic, especially when the person suffers from abdominal cramps with severe spasmodic pain, sometimes accompanied by flatulence, which is usually relieved by drinking cold water.

Oesophageal spasms and hiccups can also be treated with Cuprum Metallicum, as can very watery diarrhoea accompanied by abdominal cramps.

Pulmonary indications

In pulmonology, Cuprum metalicum is prescribed for whooping cough with spasmodic cough or asthma.

It also cures an attack which is relieved by drinking cold water, as well as hiccups and spasms of the glottis.

Neurology indications

In neurology Cuprum Metallicum is indicated for the treatment of facial spasms causing tics, blepharospasm, tetany and spasmophilia.

It can also be used as an adjunct treatment for seizures.
