Uses and Dosage

In herbal medicine, the aerial parts of the plant are used.

  • Mother tincture: dilute 20 to 25 drops of mother tincture in water. Take morning, noon and night, before or after meals.
  • Infusion - diuretic: one teaspoon of dried plant to 250 ml of boiling water. Leave to infuse for 5 minutes. Drink one cup a day.

Food

The fresh, chopped leaves can be eaten in salads.

They also enhance the flavor of soups.

Leaves can also be pickled, like cucumbers or capers.

Precautions and contraindications

As a precautionary principle, it is not recommended for pregnant and lactating women.

The plant is contraindicated for people with hyperthyroidism because it contains abundant iodine.
