Morning glory is a climbing plant in the Convolvulaceae family. It can reach a height of 10 feet and sends out tendrils to attack its support. Like all liana flower elixirs (clematis, honeysuckle), morning glory indicates a tendency to spread out, to not be well anchored in the present.
This is usually a matter of over-agitation, over-activity. But this hyperactivity exhausts the nervous system, and ironically the English name of the plant is Morning Glory. Indeed, the morning is a difficult time, especially to wake up. On the other hand, once they have started, there is no stopping them!
The plant also has soft green heart-shaped leaves. It also has an emotional connotation, of the heart, because they are often big-hearted people, inclined towards others. But who (deliberately) forget to listen to their own heart; it would mean sitting down and listening deeply to what the soul has to say.
So finally we are on a spiritual level with Morning Glory. Because of the way the plant rises towards the sky. But also because of its colour. It actually has very beautiful flowers in the form of a corolla, purple, violet (spirituality) or sky blue (the blue of the saints). The blue of this plant is one of the purest and most beautiful blues in the plant world.
Advantages
Morning glory flower elixir has a balancing effect on the rhythm of life, which gives it a regulating effect on the adrenal glands. It is recommended for people who cannot sit still, who need to be constantly on the move, but who paradoxically fall asleep from fatigue at some point during the day or week.
Gloryflower elixir is generally suitable for people who need an external product to keep them together and also to relieve the nervous system. It is therefore addictive to tobacco, drugs, alcohol, coffee, tea and sugar. In combination with other flower elixirs, it will therefore be involved in cessation.
By regulating rhythms, the flower elixir of Morning Glory also has an effect on sleep. It is therefore a good remedy for people who suffer from insomnia, frequent night wakings, teeth grinding (bruxism) or simply a lack of restful sleep which makes it difficult to get up in the morning. It is also ideal for people who travel a lot by plane and whose circadian rhythm is disturbed by frequent jet lag.
Finally, the floral elixir of Morning Glory acts on the nervous system and, in combination with the floral elixirs of lavender, impatiens and chamomile, has a calming effect on all its manifestations, such as migraine, muscular tension, nail biting and limb restlessness.
