Definition of the pathology

Hypothyroidism is one of the most common endocrine disorders and is characterised by low thyroid activity, which causes the thyroid gland to produce fewer hormones than necessary for the optimal functioning of all body functions, leading to the appearance of some symptoms such as excessive fatigue, decreased heart rate, weight gain, hair loss and dry skin.
