Nervousness is an emotional state in which a person feels agitated and irritable, as if in a state of negative excitement. Nervousness is often part of a general feeling of anxiety, and it is sometimes impossible to talk about anxiety without talking about nervousness, and vice versa. Although nervousness is a psychological condition, it can also cause physical symptoms such as stomach aches, cold sweats and difficulty breathing.
