Stretch marks (Striae)

Symptom Definition

  • Red stretch marks are the result of broken blood capillaries and can still be treated as they have a great capacity for regeneration.
  • Purple stretch marks are at an intermediate stage but are easier to treat.
  • White stretch marks, on the other hand, take on this colour because they are no longer properly supplied with blood in that particular area, and they even form a scar on the skin, indicating that the skin's ability to regenerate at that point is much lower.
