Protocol for the production of a tablet



The tablets are intended for local treatment of the upper otolaryngological sphere: mouth, sinuses, throat. The main purpose is to heal, soothe inflammation and disinfect.

Storage: 12 months under optimal storage conditions.


The basic ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons herb powder
  • 2 tablespoons elm or mallow powder
  • Honey to adjust texture
  • 1 to 2 drops of essential oil or AT

Preparation protocol

  • Mix everything together until you have a smooth, non-sticky dough.
  • Form a ball of dough 1 cm thick.
  • Cut into small pieces 1 cm long, the size of a tablet.
  • Before drying, coat the pastilles with a little emollient vegetable powder to prevent them from sticking together.
  • Place on greaseproof paper and bake in the oven at 60ºC for 30 minutes. You can also use a dehydrator.
  • Place the pastilles in an airtight container.
