Indications
Ingredients
- 30 grams of dried Marigold leaves
- 30 grams of dried Goldenseal roots
- 50 ml of Jojoba oil
- 150 ml of Witch Hazel tea
Preparation
- In a saucepan place the Marigold, Goldenseal and Jojoba oil.
- Cook on very low heat for 3 to 5 hours, put a lid on during all the cooking.
- After cooking, stop the fire and let it cool down.
- Place a muslin (lightweight fabric used for straining) over a large bowl.
- Pour in the prepared mixture.
- Discard the plants (Marigold and Goldenseal) and keep only the liquid mixture.
- Mix the liquid obtained with the Witch Hazel tea.
- Then transfer it to a colored glass bottle with a spray cap.
- Mix well.
Dosage
Apply directly 1 or 2 sprays (spray) on eczema or small wounds, 2 to 3 times a day.
Massage well to get the mixture into the skin.
Conservation
For one year in the refrigerator and away from light.
Contraindications
Pregnancy, breastfeeding and high blood pressure, because of Goldenseal, one of the ingredients in this remedy.
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or have high blood pressure, prepare this remedy without putting Goldenseal.
Observations
Marigold and Goldenseal have an anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effect.
Witch Hazel acts against itching, a typical symptom of eczema.
