Preparation

1. Boil the water and add it to the dried witch hazel leaves.
2. Let it infuse for about ten minutes (to get an effective dose of active ingredients).

Dosage

External use of witch hazel

In case of external hemorrhoids, making witch hazel sitz-baths can be a valuable aid.

In this case, use the witch hazel infusion prepared above. 

You can also use a cotton swab and apply the witch hazel tea directly into the rectum. 

Internal use of witch hazel (infusion)

Drink one cup of infusion, three times a day, between meals, in case of hemorrhoids or venous disorders.
