Definition of the pathology

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis, popularly known as Koch's bacillus (BK), which enters the body through the upper respiratory tract and lodges in the lungs or other parts of the body, characterising extrapulmonary tuberculosis.
