Definition

There are two ways to give birth:

• Normal birth, which is considered to be the only natural way of giving birth, in which the baby is born through the vaginal canal.
• Caesarean section, a hospital procedure in which the obstetrician makes an incision in the abdomen to allow the baby to be born.
