Definition of the pathology

Haemochromatosis is a condition in which there is an excess of iron in the body, which favours the accumulation of this mineral in various organs of the body and the appearance of complications such as cirrhosis of the liver, diabetes, darkening of the skin, heart failure, joint pain or dysfunction of the sexual glands.
