Definition of the pathology

Liver failure is the most serious liver disease in which the organ is no longer able to perform its main functions, such as synthesis of clotting factors, metabolism and removal of toxins from the body, leading to a range of serious complications such as coagulation problems, brain oedema or kidney failure.
